Dr Abdul Mazahim Jesmin Izzath, MBBS, MD, is an Acting Consultant Endocrinologist.

She was a Senior Registrar in Endocrinology  attached to the Colombo South Teaching Hospital, Kalubowila, Sri Lanka

She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sri Jayawardanapura in 2010 with honoured with Second Upper Class and distinction in medicine and psychiatry in final year. She obtained MD in medicine in 2021.

Her special interest are on Diabetes and early prevention of Complications Specially in young people , Community Base diabetic care, Adrenal disorders  , pituitary tumours, osteoporosis and Advance treatment of obesity.

She has published many abstracts regarding rare cases in Endocrinology and Currently doing the research in quality of life assessment and metabolic outcomes of bariatric surgery.
