Dr Dineesha Kumarathunga, MBBS, MD, MRCP (UK), MRCP (Diabetes and Endocrinology), is a Consultant Endocrinologist attached to the District General Hospital, Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka. She worked as a senior clinical fellow in Endocrinology at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust, UK. 

She completed her MBBS in 2012 at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. She obtained her MD in medicine at the Post Graduate Institute of Medicine, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2019.

She has several publications. Her main research interests are Thyroid, Pituitary, and Diabetic foot.
