Dr Harsha Dissanayake, MBBS MD MRCP, is a postgraduate trainee in Endocrinology and a Lecturer in Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo. 

He was trained in Endocrinology at the National Hospital of Sri Lanka and at present is continuing his overseas training at Oxford Centre for Endocrinology and Metabolism, Churchill Hospital, Oxford, UK. 

He has several publications in peer-reviewed journals and has contributed to formulating national guidelines in the field of Diabetes and Endocrinology.
