Dr Isuru Jayawardana, MBBS, MD, is a Senior registrar in Endocrinology attached to the National Hospital of Sri Lanka.

He graduated from the faculty of medicine, University of SriJayewardenepura in 2016 with an overall achievement of the second class lower division. He obtained his MD in medicine from post graduate institute of Medicine, University of Colombo in 2022. He entered the speciality training in Endocrinology.

His research interests are diabetes and thyroid disorders.
