Dr Kamani Liyanarachchi, MBBS, MD, MRCP, is a Consultant Endocrinologist attached to the Teaching Hospital, Kalutara, Sri Lanka.
She obtained MBBS from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura in 2007, obtained MD in Medicine from PGIM, the University of Colombo in 2014 and obtained MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians UK in 2015.
Dr Kamani is the current treasurer of the Sri Lanka College of Endocrinologists. She was the secretary of the Sri Lanka College of Endocrinologists from 2019-2020. She was a former Consultant Endocrinologist at District General Hospital Negambo.
She has several national and international publications in many peer-reviewed journals and several oral and poster presentations at national and international scientific symposia on diabetes and other endocrine disorders
She won several prizes and grants for abstracts and oral presentations at international scientific congresses. She has many publications in the field of Endocrinology in peer-reviewed journals.
