Dr Thanikai Sasikanth, MBBS, MD, is an acting consultant Endocrinologist..

She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna in 2014. She obtained her MD in 2021 from the Post Graduate Institute of Medicine, University of Colombo. She completed her two years of speciality training in Endocrinology at National hospital of Colombo in 2024.

Her main research interests are gestational diabetes, obesity and reproductive endocrinology.
