Dr Umesha N Wijenayake, MBBS, MD, is an Acting Consultant Endocrinologist.

She was a Senior Registrar in Endocrinology attached to the National Hospital of Sri Lanka.

She graduated from the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura in 2015. She obtained her MD (Medicine) in 2021.

Her research interests include obesity, diabetes and thyroid disorders
