The pituitary gland is the master gland of the endocrine system. When a sella mass is encountered and the decision is made that tumour resection or debulking is needed, the next step would be meticulous handling of the tumour with the surgeon’s knife. The Sri Lanka College of Endocrinologists has decided to organize a series of podcasts related to pituitary care and the sole purpose of uploading this video is to upgrade the insight on sella anatomy and pituitary surgery among trainees in endocrinology and other relevant fields.
