Professor Prasad Katulanda, MBBS, MD, DPhil(Oxford), FSLCE, is the Professor in Medicine at the Department of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and the Hon. Consultant Endocrinologist, University Medical Unit, National Hospital of Sri Lanka.

He was the president of the Endocrine Society of Sri Lanka from 2013-2014.

Has received many awards including the Presidential Research Award (2009 -2015). Member of Editorial boards of several renowned journals at both national & international levels. He has over 80 research publications to his credit he has authored 6 book chapters in the field of Diabetes & Endocrinology.
